Pathbar

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 27, 2026

Pathbar is a free wall strategy duel for iOS and Android, published by Arthur Baghdasaryan. This page explains what the app stores locally and which service providers are used.

Current app scope

The current v1 includes local play, AI duels, pass-and-play, tutorial, Daily Puzzle, Practice Lab, stats, achievements, themes, settings, haptics, platform sound effects, opt-in local daily reminders, Firebase Analytics, guest quick-match, and basic synced guest match play.

Pathbar does not include named player accounts, chat, leaderboards, cloud saves, advertising SDKs, in-app purchases, ranked play, cash prizes, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, location, calendar, health, payment permissions, or remote push notifications.

Data stored on your device

Pathbar stores gameplay preferences and progress locally on your device, including tutorial completion, sound, haptics, reduced-motion, coordinate, legal-hint, daily-reminder and theme settings, local gameplay stats, Daily Puzzle state, Practice Lab progress, and whether a hint was used.

This local gameplay-progress data is not synced to an online Pathbar profile in the current v1. You can reset local gameplay stats in Settings or delete local app data by removing the app, subject to platform backup behavior.

Analytics

Pathbar uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand basic app usage and gameplay flow. Analytics events may include app open, mode started, game completed, selected AI difficulty, puzzle identifier, winner, move count, and whether a puzzle was solved.

Pathbar does not intentionally send player names, email addresses, precise location, contacts, photos, messages, payment information, or full local gameplay history to a Pathbar backend.

Guest online play

Guest quick-match and basic synced guest play may create an anonymous Firebase user identifier and short-lived matchmaking or match documents containing guest IDs, match status, player slots, turn owner, board state, move count, last move, and timestamps.

The current implementation does not collect player names, email addresses, chat messages, or payment information.

Local notifications

Pathbar can schedule one opt-in local daily reminder at 7:00 PM device time. The reminder is scheduled on the device through native iOS and Android notification APIs. Pathbar does not use a remote push notification service and does not send notification content, device push tokens, or notification delivery status to a Pathbar backend.

Sound and haptics

Pathbar uses bundled local sound effects and platform haptic feedback for gameplay cues. The current app does not record audio and does not access the microphone.
